The Second Rosicrucian Manifesto

The Confessio Fraternitatis is more explicit than the Fama and more aggressive. It announces a coming universal reformation — a transformation of all knowledge, all religion, and all politics that is already underway. It attacks the Pope as the Antichrist. It claims the Brotherhood possesses the Universal Medicine and the Philosopher’s Stone. It invites all learned men to respond.
