One index.
Each record tells you what the text is, where it comes from and what is known about its transmission. Published Codex editions are marked in red.
The Didache
Read the complete surviving Hoole translation with the manuscript record and later interpretation kept separate.
The Epistle of Barnabas
Codex placement is kept distinct from claims about canonical status: this edition does not claim that a council removed the work from the Bible.
The Acts of Paul and Thecla
Tertullian's objection records a real controversy over Thecla, teaching and baptism; it does not establish the old catalogue claim of a single fourth-century suppression.
The Gospel of Nicodemus
The Harrowing of Hell: the most dramatic event in Christianity that never made the Bible.
The Book of Jubilees
Moses received two accounts on Sinai. You were only given one.
The Testament of Solomon
Solomon built the Temple with demonic labour. This is his record of how.
The Ascension of Isaiah

The Apocalypse of Abraham
Abraham’s journey to the throne of God. Lost in the West. Here recovered.
The Shepherd of Hermas
In the Bible for two centuries. Quietly removed. Here restored.
The Acts of Peter
Condemned as apocryphal. Its stories became the Church’s own.
The Acts of Thomas

The Book of Giants
The giants knew they were going to die. They tried to send a message. Here it is.
The Letter of Aristeas
A document explaining how the Bible was translated. Fabricated. Enormously consequential.
The Second Book of Enoch
Ten heavens. A man become an angel. The secrets of creation. All suppressed.
The Testament of Abraham
The man who argued with God. Now arguing with death. He loses eventually.
The Acts of Andrew
How Andrew died. The speech from the cross the Church destroyed. Partially.
3 Baruch
Five heavens. The bird that carries the sun. The angel who planted the vine.
The Testament of Job
Job's daughters inherited a language. The Bible hid it. Here it is.
The Book of Tobit
In the Catholic Bible. Removed at the Reformation. The demon, the angel, the cure.
The Book of Judith
A widow with a sword. The Reformation removed her from the Bible.
